yep its sad the way Ghrol has gone. I’d throw the Foos into the shite band list, its been years since they have done something remotely interesting. All that money i suppose.

I’d hardly call Foo Fighters ” shit “. the very word ” shit ” is reserved for the most awful, unlistenable bands with absoluetly no talent.
Samey, yes, repetitive yes maybe but not ” shit “.

i love the foo fighters.. but i don’t think they’ll recapture the brilliance they showed in the colour and the shape..
that was the best album they have, and probably will release..
nothing left to loose..alright..a bit poppy for me..
one by one..- this was okay..abit heavier..but some of the songs were a tad rubbish..
in your honour - i didn’t like this album much.. the idea of a split album never really appealed to me..
the newest one is by far the weakest album they’ve released…
it is very samey..
they’re not shite by a long shot.. but they have a formula and they’re sticking to it..which is fine.. but it wouldn’t hurt to diversify their sound a bit..
in my opinion..

The Foo’s could have a really amazing best-of album - but there is more filler on their albums nowadays than anything else. Which is a shame cause the first two albums were great

Hard Fi
In terms of working bands (i.e. not counting X Factor rejects or people who just don’t sing cos they can’t ) he has to be the worst singer I have ever heard on TV. Not so much out of tune, but…jaysis, his technique is atrocious, you can’t hear what he’s singing cos he’s all gasping and gulping when he should be singing - get the man some lessons for god’s sake!

I hate Hard Fi with a passion bordering on obsession. Imagine my delight last season when Walsall FC came out at every home game to a deafening “hard to beat”.
Mind, it won’t be long before its replaced with Fall out Boys “sugar we’re going down”…

Its not really blowing your fans to take your time perfecting your music is it? Quality, not quantity…

By meaning let’s dance to Joy Division..what bands are you meaning there? Maybe Interpol, The Editors etc. ? (I hope you don’t mean Interpol, ‘cos I don’t own a gun like Taunty Dan but I’ll be sure to make you run more than Taunty with his gun. :P)
And adding NIN to bands that are worst at the moment. Maybe you’re definitely wrong.
Anyway, the worst at this moment by million miles are the bloody Fall Out Boy. Capische?
And someone mentioned Foos. Well in my books they’re definitely not a band that deserves the WBATM title. :) Really like their albums, the newest album is still on “ice” because too many good albums are under heavy listening. Foos debut album is still awesome and so is the following one. The other albums are good too. Great songs!
