I was watching Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey today and I decided to download Tommy The Cat and its brilliant! Anyone got any other suggestions apart from Shake Hands With Beef?

God! I love Primus.
Les Claypool is the best bass player EVER! Wooo!

Anyways,
You can safely buy “Frizzle Fry” and “Sailing The Seas Of Cheese”.
After that it gets a bit freaky. :D

My favorite songs:
-Groundhog’s Day (Especially the end!)
-Jerry Was A Racecar Driver (Amazing bassline)
-Tommy The Cat (also)
-Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver
-John The Fisherman
-Harold Of The Rocks
-Frizzle Fry
Oh soo many more. ;-)

If any one either has a good enough connection or some ultimate patience then try and get the video of Those Damn Blue Collared Tweekers from Woodstock ‘94. Its brilliant, and shows a massive moshpit!

Also check out les claypools other bands, all pretty much like primus, but almost as good, sausage is a great album, the frog brigade, oysterhead, and also les claypools’ solo album purple onion…check them all out, the man is a bass playing genius…by the way has anyone ever seen them live anywhere?

I’ve seen them live on Pukkelpop (Hasselt, Belgium) a lot of years ago. It was a brilliant show. I went out and bought a lot more of their CD’s after that show.

i used to be in a Rush/Primus covers band (i sang and played guitar). Neil’s also a huge fan of both bands. they’re just too damn good.

I’ve been arguing with a few of my mates today over who is the better bassist - Les Claypool or Flea. Its definitely Les Claypool!!

thats true … never seen flea playing with 3 fingers on the right hand … no 32 notes …
and flea never tapped … as far as i know

flea is great bass player, with his own style, but les is like god for angels :)

les would be god and flea an angel …
anyone noticed, that TIM ALEXANDER is back in primus … check out their homepage …

DON“t CALL HIM HERB :)

Their cover of Making Plans For Nigel is pretty good together with the classics, Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver and Too Many Puppies.
