Started by Gimme Back My Brainsaw in Other Bands & Artists

This thread is a place to discuss the greatness that is pun jukeboxes

why do they always have a levellers album in them?

Irish music compilations are another favorite

the other night we found reload by metallica and significant other by limp bizkit on one, so put on some shit music we used to listen to when 11 for old times sake and then the drunker we got the better it sounded :)

Grant, the whole point of them is to make you drink whilst thinking about how shit the selection is. By about the 3 or 4 pint you get up & skip through the lists & see one you haven’t heard in years, and you play it “for a laugh”. Then all your mates have a go, so more money goes into it,. You all relax more, you end up drinking more. These pubs are stupid for putting the old stuff on there, as Johnny Vaughan would say “It’s Genius” (not that I’m condoning Johnny Vaughan as a voice of decency).

On the flip one’s (one’s with the big red button with arrows on) you always have your Rock Classics double album - that you can guarantee has Meatloaf, Deep Purple, The Eagles, Bon Jovi and for some unknown reason Fleetwood Mac!!!

How is it the Internet one’s always seem to cock up your choices? You select Black Betty by Ram Jam and you get Madonna with American Pie!!! Or they have blanked out your selection e.g. Everybody’s Drunk by Real Big Fish or Arterial Black by Drist. >:-<

Not that I spend much time in pubs you understand ;)
