Den, Dan’s exaggerating: I just wrote on the cover of their second album. Dan’s copy, to be precise. And will he let me forget it?

When I was student up in Newcastle(-upon-Tyne), we lived next door to a guy who had a mentally handicapped, grown-up son, who used to think there was someone at the door, day and night. This strong Geordie accent would ring out in part-angry, part-exasperated tones “There’s nobody theeeeeeere, man!” It became quite a catchphrase in our house. Bloody students. Anyhow, could you repeat the above post, but in a strong Northumberland accent? Ta

I don’t really understand the concept of a concept album, what do you mean? All the songs are about the same thing? :s

Sorry boss. :)

Concept albums are actually pretty cool in a nerdy kinda way. My fave, and i’m going to get utterly utterly slaughtered for this but i don’t care cos i STILL love it, is Extreme’s “III sides to every story.”

Yes, or they tell a story throughout the album.

I quite like the idea of a series of songs having a connecting thread, recurring themes and that.

They could do Timmy, a rock opera based on Caffeinebomb’s thoroughly left-field and original idea..I think T? should get a separate guitarist so Andy C can be singer only and he can do that fancy twizzling around of the microphone that Rodge Adultery does in the Who. You know, real spinning it round his head like a windmill. Always a good idea when you have a guitarist as lanky as Who guitarist and self-proclaimed non-paedophile Pete Townsend.
