Well… My ex-boyfriend ditched his then-girlfriend for me, we stayed together for 6 months, but alas, it was not to be in the end. So, to answer your question: YES THEY DO.
But be prepared for some nasty situations, like the co-dependent ex-girl trying to get his man back.

As you’ve seen, you really did come to the wrong place if it was constructive advice you were after!

@d - why depressed?

Seems clear to me that if the guy has his missus and a bit on the side he’s not gonna want to change that. In your position Tartan*, I’d explain to him that you’re staying well away from him until he’s single. If he really does want to be with you, then he’ll do the decent thing by his girlfriend/wife and end it with her.

I’m not sure, maybe because it’s a cynical (if potentially realistic) view that inherently thinks the worst of people. *shrugs* I can understand someone being interested in two people - that’s life - but it’s a big step up (in my opinion) from that to saying that he’d prefer to have both.
*shrugs again*
I’m just old fashioned, I guess.

Well, he currently gets to see both the women in his life and doesn’t have to deal with anything. In my experience, men will do anything to avoid a confrontation and he’s not going to have *that* conversation with his wife/girlfriend until he really, really has to. If, indeed, he really, really wants to.

i won’t do with my actual girlfriend.

in fact, i didn’t even with other girls i had in the past, but sometimes i used to have “relaations” with other girls.. (again: i WON’T do it with my actual girlfriend: i LOVE her!) i did it a few times, and once i were with three girls on the same time (well, not in bed, that would have been a great experience!!!!!! :cool: :D): two of them knowing that, but the other (the “real” one) didn’t know.. that was unfortunately a very short period of time, but, hey, i enjoyed it a lot…

back to the original question: NO, i won’t leave my girl for another one

I wouldn’t leave my girlfriend for another woman (if i had one). I’ve only had one girlfriend and the only reason i was with her was coz she threatened to kill herself. So i couldn’t leave her :p

Just because it’s where you sleep, doesn’t make it ‘your’ doorstep. Those girls have to leave the house some way.
