Foo Fighters @ MEN Arena in Manchester.
very good, though I am not a fan myself (it was mrs dennis’ fault we went) I was very impressed. Missed the support from Serj System of a Down, but he came on with the Foos at the end to sing Holdiay In Cambodia. Quite apart from the fact that it was a great version, it was ace to see an arena full of Foo Fighter kiddies going “What the fuck’s THIS?!”

LOL, “foo fighter kiddies” ! :D I find it quite unsettling that these kids only really know grohl thru foo fighters…AND know him primarily as a singer/guitarist!!

The Duke Spirit last night at Leeds Cockpit’s naff middle room. A poor venue for an excellent band, shame they haven’t established a big enough following to play at a better place!

okay back from seeing Ryan Adams and he was fcuking excellent. 2 and a half hours is a pretty extreme show. And now he is sober and clean, there wasnt the usual amount of rambling in between songs (saw him in liverpool last year and in between one song he spoke for about 10 minutes).
For some reason there was the usual amount of people heckling him (which he doesnt take very well at all). What sort of retard plays 26 quid to see an artist just to heckle them??

I went to see Interpol last night in Köln…I enjoyed them more on the Antics tour to be honest. A few of the tracks off the last album are fairly dull live and apart from Daniel Kessler the band didn’t really seem to be up for it.
