Manics Xmas Song

#

Started by Dennis

Am I on strong prescription drugs that no-one has told me about, or have the Manics done a free download on their website of a Christmas song they have written? With bells?

A veritable Glam Rock Wizzard-fest if I ever heard it. Wire’s lyrics are along the lines of “we had Scalectrix instead of X-Box”. I ask you.

Fuck me, maybe I SHOULD write lyrics after all, even I couldn’t come up with something that shite.

*weeps over his copy of The Holy Bible*

So Why So Sad was always the Manics Christmas song. I’m sure they released it in february or something but for no obvious discernable reason it was infested with sleigh bells

Maybe because they obviously sat down and said “this is truly as bad as we can possibly be. how could we possibly make this any worse?” and some wag suggested sleigh bells.

I like the Manics again after a few years away but the Wire’s lyrics are truly getting worse and worse!
