Mud - Tiger Feet was mine!! :D

Oops, made a mistake… It was Mud, but the song was Lonely This Christmas

In the Us chart it was Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chapin and in Australia it was Carl Douglas with Kung Fu Fighting
:D

Is that the year we gave you the chocolate car, and you tried to drive it to work but halfway you already ate through the engine so you had to walk?

@ Fatboy - The Stylistics are okay.

@ Zipless - You’ve a classic crooner.

@ mrs h - I still reckon Rubber Bullets was their best number 1.

So at the moment I’ve still got the worst one going (although realitycheck & chr1s did try to oust me from that position).

I think anything would have been better.

All together now:
“I’m not in love, so don’t forget it
It’s just a silly phase I’m going through…”

I agree - ‘Down Under’ was a breath of fresh air at the time. That and ‘Safety Dance’ *gets all nostalgic*

‘Physical’ was shit, but men seemed to like the video.

‘Land of make Believe’ is possibly one of the worst songs ever written on any and every level. Check out the lyrics - the only bits I can remember are “Something nasty in the garden, waiting patiently til it can have your heart” And “run for the sun little one”. Pile of toss, I’m afraid.
