Badish things

Being ill after various drunken states , including last night.
Fainting in amsterdam
Realising that i’m not good with flying
Spending about a grand on various things in a few months.

2008

Hopefully i’ll have a permanant job.
Also going to see the Dropkick Murphys in swansea , really looking forward to that.
Hopefully see lots of other bands live , Down especially.
Want to have a new tattoo.
And i’d like to discover more great music.
Therapy? New album aswell should be ace

Most of the bad things are quite personal so I won’t go into them here. Nothing life-threatening though so onwards and upwards…
One thing I do regret is letting myself get overweight and out of shape and giving up the old keep fit routine. So angry with myself for this, but the season of New Year’s Resolutions will so be upon us!

Good stuff
Promotion at work - finally getting a company car
Discovering some great bands I had previously overlooked
Prince at the O2 Arena - and even better at the aftershow gig.
Some great bike rallies with my mates, not least the one around the time of my wedding annversary when we got “remarried” with me as the bride, my wife as the groom, a very facially-hairy “bridesmaid” and a rather busty “best man”. Oh yeah, and our mate Colin as the vicar, representing The Church of Comfort (Southern Division). Stupid dumb fun it may have been, but it was a damn good laugh and believe it or not gave me and the missus a few goosebump moments celebrating our marriage, shitfaced and stoned as we may have been..

Discovering a few new bands
Seeing some of my live faves inc. the Manics, Wildhearts and meeting some of them
Holidaying in Spain
Lots of great nights out getting pissed as opposed to last year when I stayed in all the time!
Working out how to Record demos of my own songs and actually doing it!
Finding a producer to work on them and record them
Hosted a few house parties and had some good times!

The bad:
Can’t get a band together for reasons unknown
Smashed my car up and paid £400 to have it repaired…only to find the chassis is twisted so it’s worthless!
Played 2 gigs this year (in 2006 it was over 50!)
Stuck in a rut at work
Hairline receding badly!
Ginger of the Wildhearts refusing to talk when we met him - he’ll regret that the wanker when he stops getting my money!
Money situation going downhill

Again losing contact with somebody very dear to me :-(
Job hopping
Being very cranky and thus speaking my mind freely

2008:

Less gigs, and closer to home (finances, time, health being problematic)
Bound to be some good CD’s coming out next year
Continuing the fight against my depression (medication, therapy etc.) :-/

the 2 relationships i had this year were failures.

cut all my hair off

2008
my guitar will be arriving next week :D
pre orded the new ginger album
maybe a new therapy? album will be released
my hair growing back

gigs (starting with korn in january, maybe beneath the massacre as well and hopefully therapy? and the wildhearts will gig)
finding myself a nice girl who doesnt blag my head (one can dream :p)
