The album of the year thread’s getting a bit messy!

1) Electric Wizard - Witchcult Today
2) Paradise Lost - In Requiem
3) Radiohead - In Rainbows

For some reason I find that bandname very, very amusing.

As for my top 3:

Valkyre - Consolamentum
After Forever - After Forever
Icaros - Awaiting seasons

It’s not a definitive list, as there’s a slim chance I might get the new Asrai and/or first Sephyros demo before the end of the year.

Maybe because the first word looks like “anal”?

Doh… after I gave “over the under” three spins this morning it replaces the DeathProof soundtrack, although I still think it’s a rather good compilation and the cars are just way too cool!

*actually considers changing his username to STUNTMAN MIKE…*

it is terrible i know. the only other albums i even remember coming out last year were nin and the smashing pumpkins and i never really got into either of those. editors was just more of the same. ash’s last one “twilight of the innocents” was pretty good actually. i think that may be my third choice. just to make up the numbers like. oh and i liked the last marilyn manson album too. but none of those are really ace albums, just the best i can remember from a pretty bad album year. prove me wrong kids… prove me wrong.
