Im looking forward to a new T? album. Hopefully a nice big sound, does anyone else miss the days of big sounding T? albums like Troublegum, Infernal Love and Semi Detached. Not that there is anything wrong with SPYF or HA or NANE, but they dont have that big WIDE professionally mastered sound like the A&M albums did..Anyone else get my drift ? :)

So yeah, something like that would be good, the anticipation of waiting for a new T? album is always good. Especially since if you are nto that fond of it, you never have long to wait til the next one :)

Very cool! Nice one T?!

Liked the video too but i never noticed before what a limited range Andy has as a singer, he was really pushing his full voice there it seemed and he wasn’t even singing that high! Thats not a criticism, cos what he does works for the band just something everyone else has probably known about for ages and i only just noticed!

I’m with Allroy and Sam here, don’t want to be too much of a doom and gloom merchant but I fear that T?’s cheese levels might rise uncontrollably affter this. W.A.S.P.? ;-( It also makes me fear that the new album might be NANE style heavy metal (my least favourite T? album). Ah well, we shall see.

At least they might get to tour with McQueen :-)~ ;-)

Anyone remember the old rock magazine poster (we’re going back to about 1993 here), where T? are all decked out (ironically) Judas Priest-style? Throwing devils horns and Andy sticking his tongue out?

Maybe it was a premonition :p

“NANE style heavy metal”…? *confused*

I wouldn’t class NANE as cheesy heavy metal!

^For starters, it has a non-ironic song on it called “Die Like A Motherfucker”. The cheese of “Rock You Monkeys” really grinds my gears as well :-/

I could go on - I know a lot of WOMbles are big fans of NANE, but it just doesn’t do it for me at all

I’m over the moon they’ve been signed again and look forward to the potential of this deal!

ok, they might some cheesy bands on there (nonetheless, many of them still draw large crowds in the US of A), but i’m shure the lads know that themselves
and know what they’re doing.
besides that, demolition has also electric eel shock, and that’s a hell of a great band … also, who says that they have to tour only with labelmates?!

Yeah, that’s a good point - Electric Eel Shock are indeed great. And there was probably a lot of cheese on Spitfire to be honest.

I think some of you worry too much. This label move only grants more possibilities, it does not narrow the possibilities at all. The label doesn’t control the sound as much as grant additional producers to contact, places to tour and so on. In short, the palette increases, the painters don’t change. Have a little faith.

I am very pleased with this news:-)! And for the people who worry about Therapy? becoming “too”heavy metal: In the “post-Infernal Love era” Therapy? have always chosen a record label which did not limit them in their artistic freedom. I guess that’s one of the reasons they are still around. Everybody has his or her favourites of course, mine changes every time, but I think it’s great that they are heading sraight towards a Twenty Year Plan…so I am gonna wait patiently this year for the Therapy? train to rock and roll are arses!
