Will they do a deluxe reissue of one of their old albums, with DVD footage of them on the Old Grey Whistle Test and an interview with Bob Harris?
Hang on, I might be thinking of Lynyrd Skynyrd here…

Well,
They may be past it, but they still get enough international exposure - Therapy? haven’t been getting that with their last 2 labels.
Don’t think it really matters who else is on the label, I bet Demolition sees it as a means of broadening their portfolio.
Let us worry if we see Andy in spandex!

I reckon the label will bring them good either way.
I seriously think you guys are worrying too much about ‘cheese’. I can’t see T? doing anything Cheesy anyway.

I don´t care if it´s spandex or any other kind of clothing, cloths doesn´t make the music, it´s the attitude and good, catchy songs, and T? has got plenty of those both and I know they´ll bring us some killer songs again in the fall.
…anyway my spandex trousers are in the attic too:)

worldwide deal eh? sounds very positive for the guys. i wonder was ‘no spandex’ part of the contract and/or the reason why they’ve had trouble with record labels in the past…:)

Just seen the bands on the label. Fark me sideways with something blunt, what a shower of shit. Tigertailz were always the shame of Wales.
You can only hope that the lads have got their heads on and not taken the first label to come along.
To think back to when I first encountered the beauty of Therapy when they supported Babes in Toyland circa 199? in TJ’s. Those blistering hooks and whalloping driven beats and amazing gurning. Twas something to behold oh let me tell you. And that’s from a club that had the best of the best playing there week in week out (Hole, Spermbirds, Jesus Lizard, God is My Co-Pilot, Lunachicks, Dub War, Flemgods etc etc etc). They were torchbearers to an angle on sound I’d never heard before. I’ve followed then ever since, through good times and bad, but this is something to behold.
I hear one, just one, “Cummon people, wanna hear you screeeaammmmmmmm!!!!” on this new album and I’ll take a fucking taxi to Andy’s house, make him pay the driver, and then insist he buys me back that pint I got him all those years ago.
On a side note, if Andy does decide to use my lyrics (copyright Old Twat 2008) then I’ll also happily take my 20%.

Erm… old twat… live in the now (as Garth would say) those days are gone, get over it! T? have! I know what you mean, but i don’t think there’s really a ‘scene’ like there used to be. Thanks to the pop metal bands the fads in rock now change just as fast as any other fashion. Which is lame but it means we have more choice which means our favourite bands can’t be on top forever.
Unbelievably, i have a friend who totally agrees with you - he was a fan of T? when they were doing their techno beats with riffs from the early days and thought t? went crap when nurse came out! Thats a new one on me!

Eh? Get over what? Nurse was freakin’ immense. Teethgrinder a step-up again. Troublegum magic, Infernal Love the best ‘grower’ I’ve ever owned etc etc etc. They’ve done some tidy stuff, even, yes even on Shameless and OCFA.
Therapy aren’t the problem, it’s the total, head-hanging shame of being on the same label as Tigertailz.
Oh the humanity !!!!
