Fish from Marillion used to be on Roadrunner at the same time as bands like Sepultura - means fuck all at the end of the day… If the band thought that the record company was going to influence / shape the sound of the new record, I very much doubt they would have signed on the proverbial dotted…

Heh heh. I thought there was going to be more wailing and gnashing of teeth over this to be honest, and I was worried at first too, but I’ve been won round by the other WOMbles I think.
I’ll be judging the new album on its own merits and not beforehand!

[removed by moderator] old twat, leave tigertailz alone, [removed by moderator], I bet you havent even listened to thrill pistol, theyve changed with the times, yeah in the early 90s they were cringeworthy but if you think about it 70’s judas priest were crinngeworthy but what theyre doing now is modern and relevant same with tigertailz.
Tigertailz are miles better than any of the glam bands (by glam i mean all these haircut bands like lostprophets, funeral etc) from wales nowadays.

On a side note I did some research and discovered Pepsi Tate has sadly gone to meet his bespandexed maker in the sky. A pity as Huw was a nice bloke who I met a couple of times. Only 42 and cancer. Bugger me.
Still, Tigertailz lose points by getting some arse from City Kidds to join. I know City Kidds. They are from my patch too. They provided the funniest moment in ‘raaaawwwwwkkkk’ history bar none, just a pity there were only a couple of thousand people there to see it. Caldicot Castle Mayday Festival circa 1990. I was doing the sound desk for another band that day but witnessed comedy in it’s purest form. The dry ice was flowing, the thumping intro track was finishing and their guitarist lept from behind the amp stacks, magnesium flashes going off everywhere, to hurtle into a blistering intro solo that would blow the minds and bodies of all present. His hair was big, his girating bold and his trousers tight. Pity he’d kicked out his guitar lead when he performed a mid-air starjump mind.
Spinal Tap have got fuck-all on these boys.
I’m still crying with laughter today.
Lovely.

Er, don’t you think talking about well-dodgey bands on Therapy’s new label constitutes a vibrant and well thought out contribution to this here thread then?
