Anthony rocked! Although I have to admit that the Peppers are not what they were 9 years ago… No higher grounds…and it was the same show as Werchter…but I enjoyed it anyway.

I am a huge fan of the Chillis earlier stuff, but I think the last two albums are boring pop albums…totally uninspired…

I still think One Hot Minute is their best album…Dave Navarro is a guitar God…they made a mistake letting him slip through thier fingers IMO

Has anyone ever heard Chad Smith play anything remotely difficult to play ?

All the people in Rhythm magazine worship him.

I’ve been playing drums for 10 years and I cant hear it myself. Ive also heard about 4 chilis albums and its the same damn drumbeat on every song

I went to see them the 19th of March in Ahoy for just 10 euros, I should become a businessman: we didn’t have tickets for the sold out concert, but there are always them ticketdealers who get 20 tickets to profit from other people, well, it didn’t work with me! He asked me 80 euro for one ticket and I told him I would pay 15 maximum per ticket…hahaah…21.10 I herad the crow cheering and I told the guy that they were starting oof now and that i would pay 5 euro less for every minute they were playing: He sold it right away, we got in, put our coats away and then after 2 minutes RHCP started playing hahahahaa…and behind the bar there was a friend of mine…

well i think it depends … everything develops itself further!
when you look at http://www.drummerworld.com/drummervideo.html

(well you know the link i think)

all ages have their drummers … look at buddy rich … everybody says he is “the father of modern drumming” … i think all the drummers on this side can nearly play everything … but everyone with hes own style …
i think the hardware changed more … i think thats more an indicator to play an other style on the drums …
example: the cymbals sound better … cause the production technic really has developed

i think the sound influences the feeling during playing alot …
i can only say from my point of view, cause i´m a basser … with like these very muffled sounding basses i play totally different like my “status bass” … cause he has these active eletronic (like the bass sound on troublegum) … so the sound influences me alot when playing the bass
