I just watched The Departed. About an hour too long, the most convoluted plot and cliched dialogue… absolute gash, in summary.

Keith Barret Live on Comedy1 +1
Welsh comedian who relies on taking the very specific piss out of audience members for laughs. Quite funny. Not exactly Bill Hicks. But quite funny.

@Hooch - You are the first person that i’ve heard say they dislike that film. I loved it.

Just watched Blow again - Brilliant film.

Saw Cloverfield at the weekend too. Thats 82 mins of my life wasted!! Good effects etc, but, no storyline + no ending = shit film!!

the Departed is a fantastic movie!

Ok I must be getting old here but i’ve been enjoying Lewis recently. Its nice to see a programme with a bit of intelligence in it and culturul references that go beyond 60’s pop music which is most people’s limit these days!

I’ve been watching it. It’s weird - I know I shouldn’t enjoy it but I just can’t help it! It’s clearly aimed at adolescent girls, the plots are about as involved as those of Scooby Doo and the humour is as subtle as a brick - but somehow it works …
