newest episode felt a bit filler to me, but it did bring up a few key things like who’s boat it is (which has kinda been hinted at in the first episode where desmond timetravelled)

The original series, ie, the one that followed the miniseries. And I still enjoy it. Mind you, I also enjoy watching Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers in the 25th century. imho, it has aged relatively well, certainly better than the A team or the Dukes of Hazzard.
