I think that’s probably my favourite. Pretty minimal, though, so not to everyone’s tastes.
What’s the new one actually like? I mean, if that’s even possible to describe.

Its really, really good - hard to describe… I’ve not much basis for comparison off the other albums as up to getting this I only had Murder Ballads, Let Love In and Grinderman.
Its fucking ace and its only about £8 on play so you’ve no reason not to get it :)

Except I don’t have £8 :(
Well, everyone who’s heard it seems to like it, so I’ll try saving up my small change. ;)

Dig is yet another awesome Cave album, though i still prefer No More Shall We Part - one of my fave albums on the face of Earth.
At min I’ve gone for lots of Radiohead - Kid A, Hail To The Thief and In Rainbows - not being a knob, I just prefer them to anything they did before (much as I like the early records)
Oh, and American Doll Posse (Tori Amos), just re-discovered this tonight aswell. M-I-L…

I haven’t. Actually, for a Pavement fan I’ve heard very little of Stephen Malkmus’ stuff.
Recommendations?

well i’ve only heard the odd malkmus track but i just decided to take the plunge with this new album, and i’m absolutely loving it. Its very loose, lots of fuzzy guitar, but also a couple of commercial-ish tracks that he writes so well. The lyrics, as always, are genius nonsense. :) But yeah, i highly recommend it my friend.

Fiver on HMV - even cheaper than over here. That’s less than I used to pay for a CD in a second hand CD shop in England a couple of years ago!
