Was Fillion that dude from Firefly/Serenity?

Wasn’t it the girl out of the Matrix?

@Dan - you fucker, I missed it AND I didn’t know it was the last in the series. I’ve really enjoyed the whole thing so far, whereas the Stuster has been less than impressed. Life On Mars it is not, but I think it has it’s own merits. Apologies to anyone who has noticed I am pissed as a fart.

I can most likely pick it up on tv on demand, but thanks for the tip.

I love South Park too. I wouldn’t dream of stopping you- you wouldn’t respect me in the morning. The best thing to do is persevere. Eventually your sides will stop hurting. Best get some Tena Lady though, just in case :)

the new series is the best by far. the last episode was about cats being banned in south park because the kids found out that they can get high of cat urine.
cartman hides his cat in his attic when they come to take it away and tells it to keep a diary a’la anne frank…genius
kenny gets addicted to cat urine and is constantly ‘cheesing his f’ ing head off’
its called cheesing because its so ‘FON to DUE’
and the episode pays homage to that old crazy animated film ‘heavy metal’

anyone remember that film?

Yes. I love that movie. I read a few weeks ago David Fincher is planning on producing a proper sequel to HM. Should remedy the shit that was “Heavy Metal 2000.” (My icon, if you could actually see it, is a poster from the original “crazy film.”

I watched The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency and I really liked it. It’s Anthony Minghella’s last piece of work and and an excellent adaption of Alexander McCall Smith’s book.

I watched The Orphanage last night, it was like a cross between A Tale of Two Sisters and Pan’s Labyrinth (but maybe not quite as good a film as either). A couple of good jumps though!
