In that case - if they do a tv reality show to find a new singer - he’d be all over it… Vote Pedro!

I think they should get Amy Winehouse in as their new singer. Or Pete Doherty. Or Zamo off Grange Hill.

Apparently Weiland himself has suggested Sebastian Bach - I’d pay to see that!
Maybe they could change the band name to ‘Savage Animal’
…It just rolls of the tongue!

I read today that they were already trying a guy out BEFORE they toured the UK but that he wouldn’t have been ready in time.
Either way Seb Bach’s out the running, according to Slash, though I’d have liked to have seen how that turned out!
Best thing now would be an unknown singer, I think. It reminds me of when Wurzel audtioned for Motorhead back in the ‘80’s, and his letter read: “I hear you are looking for an unknown guitarist..well, they don’t come any more unknown than me!”

I just hope they get someone who is clean living, doesn’t sound like a hair metal singer and they finally make the album that they’re capable of.
Mind you - it’s still hilarious how VR have formed, released two albums and are working on their third and GNR have STILL not released an album yet.

Always thought what happened to him in Anthrax was a shame as I love the Bush-era albums.

You know what, they should get Keith Caputo from Life Of Agony on vocals. First off, he’s a great guy. Secondly, he’s ten times the vocalist Weiland is, but at the same time he can sometimes find himself sounding a lot like Weiland.

Check out the song “Troubles Down” from his newest solo album. That’s actually a heavy song—relatively speaking—for his solo stuff, but that could be a Velvet Revolver song. He’d be a good fit for the band, but I don’t know if he’d go for something like that.

LOL!
Wow, it was just a question of time before VR would split up, wasn’t it? I’m actually quite surprised everybody seems to have liked their 1st album by now. It was complete and utter crap. Even the 2nd one was better and that one sucked hard, too!
Anyway, I’m glad to hear STP got back together (for now). So, nobody’s reporting on Army Of Anyone not being together anymore then?
Next: GN’R reunion, album and tour and then Axl’s death can finally end the band as it was always meant to happen.

You’re right, Caputo is a good singer and he would be a decent replacement, but please let’s not drag any more respectable musicians into this mess.
