Why not ? He might actually turn the guitars back down to a respectable level ?

finally, just heard the track. Its sound alright but lets not get carried away as it tells us nothing of how the new album is going to sound. Bar the fact that it will have guitar, bass and drums of course.

Finally just got to hear it. I’m happy that I waited! The drums are a wee bit loud, but I’m happy you guys posted ANYTHING up! Thanks loads!
I would love to hear the vocals. I really hope TPY? put out a video for this track. It sounds lovely and warped, from the tune and the title.
I know I shouldn’t base my judgement now! But this album is gonna be a good’un. I have that drumbeat stuck in my head.
Demo version 2 anyone? :)

Friends, just a quick one to keep you all in the loop. Progress on the new songs is going really great and to date we have eleven more or less finished plus another billion or so ideas to sift through.
So this will be a double album then ?

Well yeah, but ya know, you wouldn’t let a DRUMMER anywhere near all that expensive gear now, would ya?!
Vinnie Paul always did a fine production job!

About recording the album by themselves, I remember that I read that Michael (or Andy?) was happy when they had someone else doing the job otherwise the mixing becomes a fight among drummer/guitarist/bass player to get the highest possible volume… Did they change their minds?

Maybe they will still get someone in to mix it. You need an outside ear IMO.

Troublegum is pristine. The intro and lead up to the first verse in Screamager just sound awesome. Dunno how you get that kind of clarity !
Have you not noticed the “mistake” in Screamager? after chorus one on the stop/start riff you can hear a blast of feedback that has been turned down in the mix but is still very noticeable! Good excuse to crank it up loud and have a listen!
