Was great to meet up with Dan again. He’s such a nice chap and he seems to really like me to. I think I have really found a special soul-mate there.

The Gutter Twins in Brussels yesterday, good but too short as Mr. dulli wasn’t feeling well and had to finish the show early.

Glad you liked. Me and Dennis were both, for some reason, expecting them to be a bit sloppy, but i for one was blown away by the tightness, especially the first 6 or 7 tracks.

the gutter twins in brussels. The show was NOT GOOD, songs were played too slow, and it only lasted about 9 songs. There had to be something wrong and afterwards we found out that Mr. Dulli was rushed to hospital after leaving the stage. A refief that he is well now, so they can come back to brussels and make up for it.

Oh man, that sucks! Nothing like the disappointment of a bad gig by a good band.
I have always avoided this disappointment for people when I have played in bands by making sure that the band is always shit…That way, if the gig is bad no one goes home with that sense of crushing anticlimax.

I am stating that the man never gets rat arsed anymore, I was just surprised.
When they were in Dublin last year, he came out with what looked like a bottle of red wine. Was sober at the beginning then kind of tanked by the end of the set. The good thing about both gigs is that he didn’t start one of his drunken rants.
All in all he is nowhere near as trashed as he was in the Pantera days (and he was still brilliant in those days).
Still one of the best frontmen out there IMHO.
