I tried, but the big crows were pecking at my eyes so I just had to shut them and jump. That’s how I did this …

And also when I cracked one of the eggs it had a little bird in it! That’s why I left the rest in the shells :)

Stuffed crow :) I thought I could stuff it with eggs, thus displaying not only culinary expertise, but also a rather dark and poignant irony.

Although some would say that the dinner table is not the ideal resting place for this kind of visual and oral statement, I say it’s food for thought …

So. The big one, eh? Oh come on someone - it’s one little speech. One teensy weensy little speech. it’s not as if we haven’t talked about it in the past. now … who’s turn is it?

It’s got to be (in order of GM membership) Gav, Ci?, Marja or Hey “Fordonian” Satan, I think. Everyone else has had a go, as I recall. Horribly unsuccessfully for the most part, but at least they tried. I think as it’s on a 10,000 it should be especially impressive and long and witty and filled with all sorts of comedic cliches.

Morning Gav! ;)

Jammy fucker!! :p

Or were you just working in mysterious ways?

Morning anyway :) And indeed, goodbye and goodnight - for I am off to work and expecting to get a stupidly early night tonight. I’m off back to Amsterdam tomorrow and have to check in at 5.30am :S

Have a lovely weekend everyone, but not as lovely as mine or there will have been no point in me going.

I’d be grateful if you could do something good with the weather for us, please Gav :) Holland Thurs - Sat and London Sunday - bright sunshine would be fine - thanks :)

Now then, Dan is off in Nashville at the moment, getting married. This means that we have to organise a big party for when he gets back, and get all d’s stuff out of Dan’s room in case his wife doesn’t like it… And tidy up a bit :S

remember my idiot neighbour that wants to sell his new house? He put up an add on this real estate website and he specifically said : no real estate agents please. I came across this today :
house for sale

The original asking price (without real estate agent) : 459.00€ (incl. VAT)
now : 395.000€ excl. VAT

So it might look like the price has come down, but deary me, it’s gone up with 15.000€!!! So innocent buyers would try to negociate a better price of let’s say 10.000€ less, and think they had a good deal, but they would still be paying 5.000€ more than before. Unbelievable

Ah well, as long as this means they will be out sooner, it’s worth it :-)
