The Alarm? Is that the band that did “Rain in the Summertime” and “68 Guns?” Yeah. Good call. I always thought I was hearing really hungover U2 when those songs came on the radio. :)

“up” there? Hmmm…are you sure you got confused and don’t mean “down there, buried deeper than we previously believed we ever could dig, for fear of anybody finding that film in the remnants of our culture hundreds of years from now”?

My only defence is that I was young and foolish when i started listening to them.

As opposed to old and foolish, of course, as I am now.

Hm, it’s really hard to think of something that I like, but don’t think it’s okay to like it.

Mmm, I have to say I like Prince (Alphabet Street & Raspberry Beret were excellent songs), Arrested Development’s first album and okay I’ll admit it, I’ve got the best of 5ive in my cd collection!!

RoyBatty - Did you only watch Airheads to see which T? poster they had used??

What makes you think Prince is a guilty pleasure?! I have 20-odd of his albums! Seen him twice in concert (or three times if you count the aftershow at the Indigo O2 club - which was fucking awesome)

Actually I think I have just defined what makes something naff enough to be a “guilty pleasure” = “Dennis likes them” :D

But seeing as I don’t like Jamiroquai, does that mean…gulp…that they are officially cool to like…?!

Would McFly’s first album count as a guilty pleasure or a downright travesty ?

My reason is - I was extremely unhappy at the time and the catchy upbeat pop music really helped me out :)

I didn’t catch the T? poster when I watched Airheads…:( Seems to be the only redeeming thing about it, though.:)

Bands:

H.I.M - They are the only (gothic) type band I like , I find them catchy and like his voice.
Hanoi Rocks - Don’t really like the whole glam/sleaze music but these are an exception.
The Offspring - Probably the first band I ever liked , the albums Smash , Ixnay on the Hombre and even Americana with the exception of pretty fly for a white guy are great.

Films
Arnie films , pretty much all of them except Junior and Hercules in new york , the rest are comedy genius haha.
Hot shots part deux , as its on itv2 all the time i always find myself watching it , not keen on the first one but this is so funny.
Pink panther films, alot of them are really funny although basically the same jokes in every one.

@Chris , Top Secret is brilliant :D… souveneers , noveltys , party tricks??
