I got too drunk at the staff do last night and ended up in my mate’s house.

I’m 16 and sorta didn’t tell mum and I sorta didn’t get home til 11.
My mum’s not happy, nor is my boss

We’ve all done it, mate!

I imagine the reaction from the boss will be “Ah to be that young and carefree again…”

:)

we had the same at our managementdays last week. The 2 ladies from controlling were completely wasted. We had a good laugh about it. As long as nobody got hurt and you kept all your clothes on, you will be fine.

I finally think ive found myself a job, I’m going to mcdonalds a week monday for 15 minutes of what they call OJE

Dear grant

Well done – you have made it through to the next stage!

We’d like you to come for an On Job Evaluation (OJE) and an interview.
This will give you a chance to see what it’s really like at McDonald’s by working in a restaurant.

The OJE will take approximately 15 minutes and you will be given full instruction on what you will have to do.

After that, you will have an interview with one of our Business Managers, which will also take about 15 minutes. We’re sure you’ll find the OJE really interesting and a great opportunity to see what it feels like to work at McDonald’s.
——————————————————

Be nice to have some money coming in for once if i get it, living on 30 quid a week is fucking annoying, espically when im in 200 quids worth of debt to people.

plus they give 17% discount on apples online store, and i promised myself id save up for a mac as soon as i find a job. so win win situation

and the hours are flexible, I can arrange them around college, so i can be in college and a full time job at the same time.

All i have to do is sacrafice some of my morals and work for a company i have a few issues with, but then i suppose i cant really complain becuase that would be a bit hypocritical considering all the possibly corrupt corporations i am already supporting in a way.

I really i hope i get this job though, I never thought a job in mcdonalds would be such a complex process, i had to answer a personality test and shit.

the job looks really cushty though, i dunno why people make mcdonalds work out to be so bad.

i worked in what mc d’s would call the enemy…burger king, back in the day. same kinda reasons i.e the flexibility aound college hours
until one day they wouldnt let me finish early [on a day i wasnt even supposed to be working on] to go to a psychology presentation
the bastards
i remember catching someone making the milkshake a bit ‘milkier’ than it ougha be. ive never eaten at burger king since.

one bit of advice though re. the mac…dont get one, they may be sexy as fuck but theyre also really fragile. if you run high spec programs on them they tend to overheat easily.
i went through 2 in the space of a year and a half. i might as well have taken 3 and a half grand of my hard earned money…laid it on the floor…and just pissed all over it

Be keen and offer to help lots. Wipe tables whilst smiling.

Try to talk to people and be nice.

Good luck.

Be keen and offer to help lots? You mean… multitask? :s

Oh come on, that’s like trying to chew gum and walk in a straight line! Surely no one can realistically expect that?

Now you’re just taking the piss.
