This new T? album…

Any updates on progress ?

Have no problem admitting that I’m an impatient fecker and shouldn’t been asking really as YES , I know the band was gonna take the time they think they need to make it a special one, and rightly so , but it’s been what now ? Seven , eight months or longer recording and mixing and the likes ?
Please lads , get the finger out ! Been through every album a gazillion times already to keep the cold turkey out and it’s starting to get a bit frustrating now. So quick before I start beating up the missus please.

We thank you in advance.

Jerry,
Why wait for cold turkey as the excuse to thrash the missus? Putting the old dear in her place is an all year round fun activity which requires no reason or occasion.

Oh shit, she’s coming, better log out before she reads this… :-o

It’s almost end of May already , D.

The Irish and their lazy work ethics… ;)

They can take as long as they want if it’s as good as Troublegu. Rather they didn’ rush it and put out a collection of riff hastily thrown together with one verse an ten choruses.

i cant forget the disappointment after going on about OCFA for so long then finally hearing it. my girlfriend couldn’t understand why I was so excited and after 3 listens, nor did I!
If T? take a while getting the new one together thats fine by me! 12 songs like Stand In Line would be perfect - atmospheric, heavy, brooding and with great choruses!

And a few songs in Drop D - but not a whole album.

I’d rather they come out with the new album around the end of August, so that when they start playing gigs in and around Holland again i’m able to go there.
(to clarify: i’m pregnant and by then i expect to be a mum who of course can still go to as many T? gigs as possible :D)

Will be back to moaning about the lack of progress on the new album tomorrow !

There’s a new festival in Belfast called Belsonic. It’s in August - I’m crossing my fingers that Therapy? will play a day at that.

If I remember rightly, T? said a possible release would be in September or early October.

That might clash with Metallica’s new one.

Then again, we know what St Anger was like.

No offence to Therapy? but I don’t think the two albums will be competing head-to-head in the promotion stakes.

Clash with Metallica - might actually be a good, solid whole album.

Yeah just let Lars open his mouth & let the drivel spew forth!! Dolt!
Whenever they decide to release anything or tour, we’ll find out - I’m just enjoying the moment of having something to look forward to from the guys.

Custom House Square (where Therapy? played the the last time they played here). Only 2 of the days have been announced - one of them is Flaming Lips, Mogwai, Oppenheimer, and Jape - I’d go to that one but I’m outta the country. Another day is The Zutons or some shite. That leaves 2 whole days of lineups to go :-)

Haha, none of the days yet - like I say, I would head to the Flaming Lips day but I’m outta the country - back the next morning tho. If any of the two days remaining are decent I’ll head to them, there’s always Vital too of course!
