It actually looks pretty good!
Even the footage from gigs looks better than what they have released in the past.

yep, the trailer promises very much!
There was this film from this german filmmaker Peter Sempler whose film about Lem was comin´out to cinemas few years ago but something happened (must be the lack of money, oslt) and the film never saw daylight:(
But now it seems that these guys behind this newbie one have got the dough and right help in the background to put this film out for us Kilmisterhead fans:)

Could someone please explain why CC from Poison (hang a sec, just going to chuck my guts up…feel better now) is in this?
I wonder why Peter Hook is in this too, but hey, he’s just as influencial.

CC Deville played the guitar solo on God Was Never On Your Side on the last Motorhead album, Kiss of Death. Apparently he’s good friends with Lemmy - presumably cos they both hang out on Sunset Strip, I dunno.

Look entertaining, but Lemmy… oh well. Sure, he’s cool as hell, he’s one tough motherfucker… but still, people overestimate his importance. nobody needs more than one best of-cd by motörhead. that’s good enough for what it is, but if lemmy retired tomorrow, no one would care.

only looked at the trailer now, thought they were making a movie about him, i’d be classing this as a documentary. Ya i’m with Superunknown on this one, he’s great and all but i cant say i’v ever felt the need to go out there and get all Motorheads albums, No Sleep and Ace of Spades will do me just fine

Speak for yourself!
The more recent Motorhead albums are the best ones, and I’m not the only one who thinks that.

i thought from Bastards onwards their albums have been consistently good (with the odd lull - snakebite love). Lemmy is a legend and i think its a shame they arent bigger

For me the only duffer from “Bastards” onwards is “Hammered”, though even that has a few cracking tunes on (Brave New World in particular.)

My mate Colin would make the perfect Lemmy in a movie, but that doesn’t really help does it?
I think Dawn French should do it, just to test her acting skills to the limit.
