I caught a bit of Fur TV in the pub the other day.
This is gonna sound daft, but I never actually HEARD the programme, cos the pub had the TV on mute cos the DJ was on but even so the show was funny as fuck!

Im not into the new series of peep show. it should of ended at the end of season 4 and thats at a stretch.
it just seems like in a way theyve done everything they can with it now.
Im really into the inbetweeners at the moment, i think its the best british comedy in a few years.
saw greek on bbc 3 last night, watched the second episode online and am gunna watch some more, quite enjoying it, but it takes a while to work out what theyre on about at first.

i thought myself that theyd taken it as far they could after the whole wedding fiasco but the aftermath is even funnier.
and super-hans is back to ball-tripping best.
ive been watching the inbetweeners religiously too, and its true…it is one of the best comedies of recent years

I watched that Mary Whitehouse drama last night, Filth.
Good laugh in places, but in the end, I still wanted to whack the little bitch (or in her case, do something to her grave). She had a point of having a watershed and what have you, but she went nuts when it came to censorship (or should that be censorshit). Liked the bit when people who age had a pop at her though, and why she went apeshit over the word ‘knickers’ in a Beatles song is beyond me. That group is still going, by the way, but under a different name (Mediawatch) and they hate South Park, Graham Norton and anything that’s on late on a Friday on Channel 4.
Sad sods, the lot of them.

I’m pretty certain that the Beatles are not still going, under the new name of ‘Mediawatch’.
I remember a Spitting Image sketch with Mary Whitehouse complaining about the violence and swearing on tv and how it’ll corrupt people. A friend of hers wanders in and politely asks how come it’s ok for Whitehouse herself to watch all the shows that she criticises. Her answer is to draw an uzi and shout ‘screw you, bitch’, and unload the clip into her friend, laughing all the while. Happy memories.

This is a long shot, but does anyone (probably over the age of 30) remember a show called Hardwick House? A school based comedy that Whitehouse (or should that be Shithouse?) help drag off the air. It was violent and funny and bloody nuts.
By the way, whatever Whitehouse called her crew, they were renamed Mediawatch in 2001. I’ll try and get their address so we can all send in our abuse. :-)

It’s true - it’s all improv, like on Whose Line Is It Anyway.
The end of the “story arc” will see Clive Anderson randomly awarding some incidental character who has hardly played any part at all the most points and they will have to read the end credits in the style of Jimmy Saville.
