Great to see they’ve gone back to the squarer T? logo, wasn’t mad keen on that joined up writing (I’ve matured) one they had for ‘So much for the ten year plan’ and ‘Shameless’.

Sorry, to rephrase, I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I am assuming that if shops are open, it being a Bank Holiday wouldn’t stop them putting out new releases, surely?

i can’t get it. what is the point of releasing a single which has two album tracks and no ‘exclusive’ track?

To promote the actual song intended as the single???

Back in the days of vinyl, there were no extra tracks. Just an A and B side, with a A-side being the single and the B-side being a track off the album.

There’s nothing to say a band has to put bonus songs on a single. It’s just something that seems to have evolved over the years, especially with the advent of cd’s.

Although, granted, it would be nice if T? kept doing it.

Well from what I rememebr the band saying in one of their posts, Mama…Ambulance will be on there.

And perhaps one other, but I am not sure on this point.

Oh, and bear in mind, if they do release one single that has no added bonus, well, it’s their due, surely? Look at the bonuses they have released in the past.. the songs on Die Laughing, Nowhere, Trigger Inside singles, all those acoustic songs on Diane, the Church Of Noise single etc… on average, they’ve done pretty damn well…

Single’s are passé…
Charts are only for teeny-bobbers.

I only buy singles for the B-sides.
The ideal thing for T? would be to just release a 2nd CD with all the B-sides in about half a year and forget the singles.
A bit like System Of A Down did…

dam right alex, in the past they’ve always managed to make some brill singles and b-sides. And to say they’ve produced an album with a new drummer in next to no time at all I think were pretty lucky to get a single at all. Maybe I’lll shut up now

Excellent! I agree that bands don’t have to put b-sides on singles, but Therapy? have spoiled us so much in the past it’s almost impossible not to be upset if they were to release a single with all album tracks! =)

This is very good news though. Thanks.
