Alright..who’s up for it?!

Been reading the tour thread and there appears to be a couple of people going to the Manchester gig, I’ve been asking around at work and it would appear that a few of us are going as well, so anybody fancy meeting up for a few pre, during and post-gig beers?

Also..anybody who is travelling is more than welcome to stay over at mine, as long as you don’t mind sleeping on the floor! If you’re up for it e-mail me at danmmndoughnuts@hotmail.com and I’ll pass on my phone number.

I’m about 25 minutes walking distance from the venue so plenty of time to go on a pub crawl. I can put up about 6 or 7 of you, and I’ll make sure I’ve got loads of eggs and bacon in for that all important morning after greasy breakfast!

Very much hoping to get there. I have a place to stay (mate at uni there) but pre-gig beers are definitely a good idea so let me know when you’ve got a plan. :D

Sounds good to me, I’ll try to get to Manchester early, just depends on what time I get out of work at, but if nearer the time you tell me where you are, and what you are likely to be wearing, I’ll try and meet up with you. If not, I can meet you in the union, and the ale is cheap. :)

Title: Why do they need 7 train stations?

Bah, I am having much trouble persuading my dear mother she wants to skive off work to look after my munchkin whilst I go galavanting across the Pennines but nevertheless…

I am making preparations anyway and was hoping someone could tell me if I want to get the train to the Oxford Road or Piccadilly station?

Also, is there a definite plan regarding pre-gig meeting up yet?

Ta, Sarah

Oxford Road is your best bet if I remember right, if you come out of the station and turn right up Oxford Road, and keep walking you will come to the University on the right, then a little further on is the union.
Further up is the hogshead pub, that’s were they all went for beer after the soundcheck on shameless, so perhaps they’ll go there again.
Micheal has told me that Diamond Dave won’t be there on this tour, whose going to do all the wheeling and dealing then???

Right without sounding like a right tart, what are people wearing (T-shirt that is!!), as I would like to put faces to people from WOM if I get chance, as I guess you will be in the union before going upstairs to the gig.

I’m hoping there’ll be a plan of action. Maybe you have an idea?

Title: Manchester Meetup-erings

Hiya,

Just got back from a big trip abroad to see that Therpay are touring. yay.

Hopefully its not sold out and I can buy tiks on the door :)

Hogshead is a reasonable place to meetup, else see you in one of the bars in the Union (sure they’ve changed all the names in the 9 months Ive been away). There used to be a bar up in the Hop N Grape; although it was never the easiest place to talk to peeps.

Anyways I’ve got long gingerish hair and will find my Pitchshifter T-shirt to wear & hopefully there with a mate
with blond hair and dreads.

Have fun,

Ian.

(p.s. I know its early im suffering from jetlag!)
