Just saw Iron Maiden this last Fri and Sat. Fucking brilliant! Dickinson has found some sort of Fountain of Youth, sounding as good, if not better than he did in the 80’s. They opened with Aces High, and for once, he didn’t puss out on the end high note. It tooka second for me to get used to the 3rd guitar in the mix (and he does a kinda weird jumpy dancing thing), but after that, it was all fantastic.
Recommend this for any Maiden fan as they claim they won’t play most of these tunes ever again.

Sounds great, glad you enjoyed it.
I agree about Bruce’s voice - On all the live footage I have seen recently his singing has been on another level entirely. And yes, I’d go as far as saying better than in the old days.

Spent the rest of the week in bed with diarrhoea.

Saw Ricky Warwick (ex- The Almighty) playing in my local pub last night. Very good show, just him with an acoustic. The guys got a great voice it has to be said. Hung around chatting with him afterwards, an all round cool guy.
He’s playing in Cork tonight if anyone’s interested!

Probably not the best place to be when you have diarrhoea…

Saw them last night, it was great, but you were spot-on with your comments about how they could have mixed it up a bit…and that fucking fence!

I guess its a good time for them to stop - the last few albums have been great, but when you hear them back to back, big Al really has nothing new left to say.
Better for them to bow out gracefully and save pissing on the legacy of a great band.

WOW! So Search and destroy is in the setlist finally! Promises much for the forthcoming gig here in Finland at the Race&Rock event.
