George Carlin RIP

#

Started by FNYANKEZ

George Carlin died today (well last night), at 71. Not too shocked, last thing I saw him in he looked a little banged up. Sad though, funny and talented guy.

I didn’t know who the fuck he was until my brother told me that it was Rufus from Bill & Ted (and the priest in Dogma).

I’ve been instructed to watch some of his live shows - apparently if you’re into Bill Hicks it should be right up your street.

Yep one of his shows he describes his act as “A list of things that are pissing me off.”

I’ve never heard of him until Bill and Ted were mentioned. He sounded like he was the Bill Hicks of his day.

Very sad. Funny bloke - I’d say RIP if it was anyone else, but in this case I think ‘rot away, fucker’ is probably more appropriate :)
