They’re worse. Can you lend me a fiver? And a couple of quid for the bus? And 10 bob for a cuppa tea?

I think they would say “and what exactly are we supposed to do with that heap of sh1t?”

Maybe I’ll just get a red apron and a tray of home-made ice-cream and see if i can sneak in! :D

It would be easy to sneak in I reckon…I’ve thought that every time I’ve been there. Would require distraction techniques though, are you skilled in them?

I have been on a course, but I didn’t do very well. They said I was too easily distracted :(

Do you have any tips? Perhaps I could set my coat on fire and run screaming from the ladies, and then hurl my coat down the escalator and quickly sneak into the film whilst everyone else was busy stamping on it?

The screen I saw it in was on the ticket desk floor, to the left of the popcorn section. Are you familiar with Leeds Vue? Because if not you’re going to have to start recceing the place. We’ll come to the next stage of the plan when you have thorough knowledge of the layout of the territory.

I know it far too well for my own good. There are a couple of screens left of the popcorn thing aren’t there? One on the end and one in front to the left - but there are toilets to the right. Maybe I could chisel my way through from the ladies into screen 2, and if it was the wrong one I could just carry on chiselling?

mr self destruct wrote:

That’s the one. You could try chiselling your way in I guess but it would be a lot of effort. Best bet would be to pick up a discarded ticket, take it home, scan it, edit it, and print it out on the same kind of paper ;)

Nobody chucks their tickets since the £80 littering fine came in. On reflection I think maybe its best I just kill the ticket collector with the chisel and then wander through to see the film in a nonchalant fashion :) Maybe I’ll win the lottery tonight! Then I can use the money to bail myself out if I get caught :)

Anyhow, I must away. Enjoy the rest of your evening! :) *waves*

i you give a monkeys about ian curtis/jot divison go and see this film - its fantasic. im sure its been a little over dramatised in places, but at the same time its a very british film, theres been no attempt to holywood up the story at all which can only be a good thing. i went with my girlfriend who only knew one jd song and she left the film a convert….so there!

Just bought it DVD, just stumbled into it Best Buy…really liked it. I thought the actors did a great job live. Surprised they actually played live versus synching to a recording.
