I love this band! Ive been a fan since I heard Temptation on a rock sound compilation. They were going to be the next big thing weren’t they? Lars Ulrich was a massive fan of their first record. What happened??

Well, among other things, Jon apparently trebled in size.
I only have the first album, but I do love it so.

For sure… They have changed their style over the last couple of years experimenting with different sounds.
Their last album April is mainly acoustic and has a very folk feel to it.

The next album he is working on is due to be a return to electro-rock again.

I heard them on one of those free Metal Hammer or Kerrang cds years and years ago and kinda liked it but never followed it up.

Since seeing this thread I did a cheeky download and got a few albums - just listened to VAST and Nude now and they are pretty decent.

I’m really getting into these. Downloaded the discography and have been listening to VAST, Music For The People and Turquoise & Crimson non stop. That first album is great!

Definitely going to be on Amazon come payday!

It’s only a fan vid, but it’s pretty good, and is the whole reason I got into VAST in the first place.

I was trying to describe them to my brother and the best I could come up with was an Industrial Anathema…

I dont think that sold it very well.

I think Joe (Jsar) once called them a cross between NIN and U2… Surely there must be a better comparison, somewhere? ;)
