[quote=kossu]OCFA: gets better day by day and to those who hate it if U don´t like it don´t bother to come gnagging here ´bout it. just simply shut your mouth and stay away and make everybody happy. well, after all this is free world but if you don´t have anything else to say than just keep blaahing, blaahing around, say it to yourself also been listening today:
several Hellacopters albums
OCFA isn’t great. I don’t care whether i’m making people happy or not so bums to you!
Hellacopters are cool though.

Got some fresh vinyl the last 2 days been listening to that.
Metallica- Master of Puppets 2LP 45RPM- awesome! They done a great job with these, Kill ‘Em All and Ride the Lightning are great also.
Deep Purple- Machine Head
Weezer- Pinkerton (cranks much better than CD)
Ramones - Leave Home, Rocket to Russia, Road to Ruin, End of the Century
Black Sabbath- Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (clear vinyl..freaky)
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue…great album. Wasn’t much of a Jazz guy but gave it a shot originally on iTunes and got hooked. So much better on vinyl. One of my faves. Real bluesy.
Dug into my old mans old record collection. Cleaned up a few of his old jazz LPs
Ahmad Jamal - Live at the Pershing great piano player.
now listening to Modern Jazz Quartet & Oscar Peterson Trio- Live at the Opera house. Pretty cool stuff to mellow out to.
These things hadn’t been played in 30 years. Put a little Gruv Glide on them…good as new. Those old fat vinyl LPs hold up well.

Good = Black Tide, Mertallica, Sign, Dream Theater, Glamour of the kill, Gallows, Machine Head.
Not so good = Devildriver (possibly the worst band EVER), Coheed & Cambria, Trivium.

Didn’t mind the Coheed & Cambria one as much as I thought I would - only got as far as the Fightstar one before arriving at work.

black metal…from france…is it just me that finds this side splittingly hilarious? I’ve never seen a frenchman offer more than a sigh and a hunch of the shoulders, how do they gather up the energy and rage for a black metal act??

Has anyone heard the Maiden Heaven CD that came with Kerrap this week? It was the only reason I bought it.
Verdict - it has it moments, but please, as much as I like Devildriver, don’t let them do another Maiden cover PLEEEEEZE

The Sign cover has really grown on me… Machine Head and Metallica ones are pretty decent too - the Avenged Sevenfold one is sadly pants..
