That sounds like an interesting one, Opal Mantra. I have two symbols in black, one on each upper arm.

Mis-shapen his cock may have been, they didn’t call him the Elephant Man for nothing, if you know what I mean…

But yeah, I recently watched my friend get a tattoo and the guy doing it was telling us how he did a guy’s bell-end the same day. With a tattoo I mean.
When we said “Ouch that must fucking hurt!”, the tatooisterist said “Hell yeah, I should know, I had it done meself!”

So now not only am I not in the cool club of the boys at school who get into the football team and have, well, girlfriends and stuff, now I am in the outer ring of losers who don’t have their bellend decorated with a black star, or a flower or “All coppers are bastards”

no tatts here, maybe some day. Never seen a image that i could imagine having on my body for the rest of my days, prehaps the PL crown of thorns logo is the only thing i could see my self getting. It would have to be in black too.

And the other is the Wildhearts Smiley Bones

I’m seriously considering some stars around the smiley bones, and I’ve already decided to get my stars expanded on :)

What if one of ‘em turns out to be a kiddie-fiddler or something? I mean, I bet someone somewhere has a Gary Glitter tattoo before he was busted!!

i personally think that regardless of parental permission…
you should be 18 before you get tattooed…

i’m very very surprised that anyone calling themselves a tattooist would even consider tattooing someone under that age..

that’s one very serious and quick way to get your health certificates taken away from you..and if it is a studio, a very quick way to get it shut down…

i don’t agree with any one under the age of 14 getting a piercing, even if it is just their ears, or 18 getting tattooed..

it’s wrong..and as someone who’s trying to get into the business of piercing i think more people should take a very close look at places that are allowing the piercing/tattooing of people thata re underage..i wouldn’t go there to get pierced or tattooed..at all…
if they believe that tattooing a child is okay..i wouldnt do any sort f business with them at all…

just my opinion of course..

i maintain what i said..
and add this..

if a ‘tattooist’ is known to be doing work on underage people..ie anyone under the age of 18..with or without parental permision..
they shouldn’t be allowed to tattoo..

end of!

My smiley bones , I had it when I was 16 so im guilty aswell… but im 19 now and still love it and the wildhearts remain my favourite band. I regard tattoos as memories of things you love, even if one day I suddenly stopped listening to them I will always know that they were a very important part of my teenage years and they’ll be something i’ll never forget.

I also have a maiden one

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c160/davies666/1291153239_l.jpg

Same as above really maiden have been one of my favourite bands of all time… I’m not saying im going to get a tattoo of every band who are my favourite at that moment in time… that would be really silly :D.

I also have chinese symbols of something very personal to me and after my next pay slip I shall be booking myself in for a Liverpool FC tattoo of somesort.

Music and football are the things that I enjoy the most and make me happy, so thats all the reason I need to have them tattooed.

Do ye guys think that does tatts will look a tad shit in a few years as the colours fade etc. People always say they’ll get them touched up but they rarely do. I’d only ever get a black one my self.

In black. It’s the cover of this album:

Got it done on my 18th birthday. Even then a part of me always knew I would turn into an office dullard. I wanted something to look back on and think “you know what?… I used to rock!” ;-)

Always intended to get a T? one at some stage (was going to get the infernal love ? mark heart done very small over my own heart) but never got round to it. Don’t think I’ll ever get another tattoo now

@ Colin , yeah stars could look well good , the new t-shirt design of the smiley bones has stars on it I recall and looks nice. Upto you though.

@ Kill Hill , no problem as of yet with fading which im quite suprised at considering yellow is probably the worst for it , so far so good. In years to come though if it does fade I probably would touch it up a bit.

The thing is with tatts once you start its hard to stop , or at least I found it that way, very addictive. But i’ve managed to go over a whole year since my last one and as i’ve got a bit of money now I fancy a new one or two. :)
