Don’t play his game Gav. We might not have much, but the Americans are those ones that have no teeth at all and wear dungarees and straw hats.

Wtf’s a dungaree? Something to wear whilst attacking unsuspecting river rafters in our ominous US backwoods?

I can’t rememember if they wore dungarees in Deliverance, but I suspect not. It would have made the most memorable scenes a bit clumsy and farcical… Do you wear dungarees, Roy? :)

Didn’t even know what they were until hooch posted the ^^^^ link. I think my dear, late Nana used to call Levi’s jeans dungarees, but what did she know, she was born in New Hampshire! Can’t remember what they were wearing in Deliverance either, but if we’re talking about the same scenes, then it probably wasn’t very much. ;-)

We are, but I can’t imagine anyone taking off their dungarees and managing to look sinister. Except perhaps children’s tv presenters, such as Geoffrey from Rainbow, or Brian Cant.

Ever seen Wolf Creek? That dude makes dungarees (overalls) look damn scary. Okay, okay, back on topic: Countdown. Er, I’m afraid I don’t know what that is either. :-S

Ask Michael McKeegan - he wore them onstage every night for about 2 years!
