Whatever happened to In Dust???

#

Started by neilmac

I can see it’s been asked before but does anyone know what happened to this band?-they supported Therapy? way back and were on a label called Wallcreeper records in Belfast which I believe went bust-there was also another band called Repulse on the same label who I cannot track down-I know one of the guys was called Steve Nolan and I’m just curious if they ever had any albums/singles after “nosebleed” or any info on other bands they formed would be much appreciated as they made an amazing sound! cheers

That is NOT the same Steve Nolan!!

As far as i’m aware Steve Nolan moved to London, released some Techno records as Blocker, then set up a company called Nosebleed Productions. He makes music for documentaries, does sound design for animations, multi-media etc.

Here’s a couple of links to short animations done a few years ago - http://www.unit9.com/videos/fullmoonsafari , http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/filmnetwork/A3327590 , he also just completed a feature length doc with Fyfe Ewing called Goth Cruise - http://www.gothcruisethemovie.com

Hope that clears any confusion!

Well,I’ll be <insert uncomfortable happening of choice>! I only got here by accident-sitting in the library with a few minutes spare-finally remembered to do a search on Repulse..(In Dust woulda been next,honest..),the search engine only gave me a coupla worthwhile leads-the m,ain two of which brought me straight to Neilmac’s question! Now Im getting thrown out,so I’ll have to come back and sort this properly tomorrow! Tell you what though-after this,I’m away home to dig out my old “Meat Abstract” 7”!

Just found out it’s download only. Still, at £3, it’s a bargain.
