NANE “could do with a facelift” ?! What are you talking about?!

I find the guitars a bit too “cheap” sounding - i guess that was the effect they were after and i love the songs, just the sound gets annoying. it suits songs like Panic, Dead and DLAM but Long Distance and So Called Life and a few others really could have done with a bit more refinement.

Nuse needs a re-mastering…bad! It’s way too quiet compared to the others.
I don’t think any need a re-mix, just remastered to get the volume up to par with their later released. And adding B-sides is never a bad thing.

I dion’t think Troublegum needs a re-release but if it came out as a double with demos and b-sides and outtakes etc i’m sure i’d buy it anyway if it was at a good price!

The only album that should be played live in its entirety is The Wall, and only then cos it follows a linear storyline.

You know that thing when you’re listening to an album you know really well and one song ends and you sort of hear the start to the next one before it even starts cos you know it’s coming? Well what I like about live gigs is that you DON’T know what’s coming, it breaks up the familiarity a bit.
I mean, it sucks when a band plays the same setlist over and over, doesn’t it? Well for me this is the same thing.

I saw Blur around 2000 or so when they did their Singles tour in which they played every single they’d ever released in chronological order. Was quite boring after a while tbh, though it was funny how fast they rushed through The Great Escape tunes (think they were a bit embarrassed by them). They had to finish up with No Distance Left To Run as well which was a bit of a downer.

All Tomorrow’s Parties have been hosting Don’t Look Back concerts in London & New York for the past couple of years where bands play back classic albums in order and in full. They also have a stage at the Butlins ATP festival and Primavera Sound festival - I saw Slint do Spiderland in ‘07 at Primavera. This year was Public Enemy doing It’ll Take A Nation of Millions - would love to see T? do Nurse or something

Or when the setlist is right in front of you and you cant help taking a peek and then you know excactly whats coming, saying that though when i saw t? and the wildhearts and looked at the setlist it got my anticipation up if anything.

They actually vary their set a little bit.

No, I was thinking more like Motorhead.

Great band, great gigs and all that but way too rigid with the setlist.

Look at their website - it has all their gig dates and setlists and it looks pretty varied compared say, as someone said above, Motorhead.
