What song did Therapy? cover best?

#

Started by Superunknown

There’s quite a list of songs covered by Therapy?. “Breaking The Law”, “Diane”, “Denim Demon”, even “With Or Without You”. Which is your favourite? I’d have to pick “Vicar in a Tutu” and “Diane” because they’re different and also better than the originals.

I’d say Where Eagles Dare! I’ve always loved the Misfits, and that song is nicely different from original

Even Though i dont mind the Isolation cover it’s still a Joy Divison song and should of been left alone out of respect of the great band!

CC Rider is great! In Holland there was a Sisi commercial that used that song (original one). But I always thought about the T? one and it made me laugh!
Breaking the law is also good!

The only versions I have are live versions. There is no studio recording of it as far as I know, but if you want the live version (I think I have three different versions), let me know, I’ll make an mp3 of it and send it to you by email.

Tough one…I guess mine changes once in a while, but if you want a faster version of Diane: there is this band( I don’t think they exist any more, not sure though) called Coffin Break( SubPop label) and they have done a really cool cover of Diane as well, I don’t know if it is to be found on the internet…my favourite cover a the moment is Gimme Danger..

I don’t think much of the live versions when they slowed it down, but the recorded version is excellent.

Even with those “dodgy” lyrics!

It only gets heavier towards the end, the beginning is actually slower. They should make a studio version of the faster rock version they play at gigs every now and then, that version kicks ass!
