quite self explanatory. here we go.

monday - i don’t like mondays by the boomtown rats. manic monday by the bangles. blue monday by new order. monday morning 5:19 by rialto.

tuesday - ruby tuesday by the rolling stones

wednesday - dreamy wednesdays by the wannadies.

thursday - ?

friday - friday i’m in love by the cure. i met her on friday by shed 7.

saturday - saturday night by suede. saturday night by whigfield. saturday nights alright for fighting by elton.

sunday - sunday bloody sunday by u2. everyday is like sunday by morrissey.

your turn.

i am sure there are loads but that thursday is annoying me. there must be at least one. and tuesday and wednesday are difficult too.

Yeah Thursday by Morphine is a great tune, was just listening to it last night after finding the CD after missing it for two years!

What about Bloody Sunday from Stiff Little Fingers? that should get precedence over U2’s overblown bullshit. (ironically, being from the north and quite a political band, SLF’s song is about how boring sunday’s are)

Weirdly I had it in my head that there was a Generation X song called Thursday something - but when I checked it was actually called ‘Friday’s Angels’. That wouldn’t have been so bad if i hadn’t had the album for 28 years!!
