thats good an all mate, but does it really warrant posting a new thread when you already have at least 2 threads about yourself.

well when you start loads of threads called :

Charlie has a new job
Charlie has a new band
Charlie has a new idea
The Squall thread

etc

it gets really annoying.

id say go for it, if you cannot get a job you might as well get some more qualifications, youll get a better paid job because of it, also, theres more opportunities in guildford rather in rural wales, so yeah, go for it mate. :)

Au contraire , I think Charlie’s willingness to explore new roads and take on new challenges in life should be widely applauded and a lighting example to all that today’s youth is not all about drugs , pizzas , playstation and getting laid.

Go on the Charlie , ya good man !

I’ve changed the thread title - perhaps a more generic discussion about the study of percussive arts?

But yeah - I do think ACM is the way to go - study drums for 3 years and get a degree ? Sounds good to me !

Give it your best. I know someone who studied guitar in Guildford, and so far as I know he had absolutely no regrets doing it. Last time I saw him he was making a small fortune giving lessons (guitar lessons; he didn’t give it all up to be a primary school teacher).

Yesterday I poured myself a warm bath and drunk a load of Grolsch, got wasted and had music in the background, reading books and watching porn. Seriously amazing experience, better than sex some may say.
