therapy? 2008-9

Is this even a message board about therapy? anym?ore?

I dont think theres been an active conversation about the band in a good while which is unusual, back in the days the general therapy? topics section was crowded, now the one thread about metallica seems to get more posts, I dont know if its due to the new layout people dont post in this section or wether its because we’re going through the quiet before the storm or what? im sure when OCFA was on its way this section was heaving, and I bet to non members its hard to see this forum is the band therapy? at the moment, hell we’ve even had a few people signing up who seemingly had no idea who the band is.

Am i the only person noticing this or what?

then again i’d rather a bit of quiet than hundreds of those fantasy album name threads some people like posting

i think it’s just because the band have been a bit quiet as of late. i’m sure as soon as there’s some news or gigs announced people will be back on the general T? topics complaining about how it sounds like one album or another or conversely how it does not sound like one album or another. personally i don’t post much any more just because i am old and boring and usually sober. it’s a disgrace i know. ;)

Yeah, I think it’s cuz the band’s been so quiet lately. People have actually signed on that don’t know who T? is?

I’m glad you noticed Gimme, the first thing I do in the morning when I arrive at work is checking if there are some T? related messages on here… and they are very very few lately. It’s a shame, but I do think indeed that the band beeing quiet has got something to do with it.

Come on Therapy? give us a sign of life, so we can get the “General Therapy?” topic going again! :-)

We’re quite a loyal lot aren’t we?! I come on here everyday as soon as i get to work to see whats going with you lot, more than I do the band! As soon as they give us something it’ll all be good again! At least we’re showing we still care, so the new album had better be worth the wait! (I’m sure it will tho!)

I think the new layout does indeed play a part. When I used to login I used to go straight to the General Therapy? topics. I only started exploring other threads when the new layout was introduced. Fair point about this not feeling like a Therapy? site anymore.

The band however has been very quiet lately though. I am happy enough with that - kind of puts an air of mystery to it all. Was too much bullshit talking before the release of OCFA anyways.

I hope that they are going to blow our minds with the new album

This happens with all bands’ forums.

It all goes a bit quiet on discussions about the band cos there’s only so many times you can start a “Who is the best Motorhead drummer?” or “Who do you prefer, Belladonna or Bush?” or “Which is your favourite Sugababe?” thread amongst the same people.
Plus when new stuff comes out, I think those of us who are fans enough to join a forum devour and discuss the new material so avidly as soon as we get it that within a short while we have burned the conversation out.

When the new album comes out, the Therapy? talk will go into overdrive again.

I think it’s what makes this forum so good , the fact that we don’t even need to be talking about Therapy? and we all are still regularly on here, even when I haven’t got something to say on a matter I still like to read what people have got to say as odd as that may sound.

With most other forums i’ve visited it seems to be a competition of who can get the most posts and stuff like that. I’ve still yet to reach 1000 posts after over 4 years on here and yet I still like reading every day , even more so than the Ginger/Wildhearts forum which has gone very boring.

But hopefully we’ll get some news in the new year regarding the album and tour.

So the latest status is that the recordings are in the hands of Mr. Gill, right? So we’re looking at what, a Feb/March release, I’d speculate?

Definitely Bush, there was always something uncool about Belladonna which I couldn’t put my finger on…
