it’s 76 minutes of music that flow really well..when i hear it i don’t really think that the songs are that long, they don’t bore me unlike some genesis and yes songs that go on forever…let them do whatever it is they like man

Yes it flows well when you remove Lipan Conjuring. It’s a long album but feels really short due to actual songs.

Tool were amazing when I saw them at Wembley Arena. The lights and visuals were stunning. :)

I used to like them, untill I realised they just make long over blown pieces for the sake of it, if there was a bit of variety fair enough but it all sounds so dull.

Aenima is still my favourite :)
I’ve seen them live twice now, don’t think I’d go out of my way to see ‘em again. A new album next year would be very nice though ]-I

I really loved the album Undertow , even the long songs on it were really good. Aenima is good aswell. I didn’t really get into the one after that and I never ended up buying or downloading the last one , am I missing much?

The one after Aenima is Lateralus - in many peoples opinions, its not only Tool’s best album but a masterpiece in its own right.
I think its better than Aenima and 10,000 Days :)

It takes a while to really grow on you.
Im not saying force yourelf to like it by any means :p
But for a long time I didnt like the middle part of Lateralus where it went really quiet for 2 minutes than came back - but now i love it :)
Plus I have grown accustomed to long songs since I became a fan of Dream Theater.
