Therapy? Files?

#

Started by TotallyRandomMike (Mike McGrath-Bryan)

I was over on The Ash Files, which is a forum for Ash fans (natch) to upload and download bootlegs and share them. There is an absolute wealth of stuff available from all stages of Ash’s career, gigs, sessions, B-sides, demos, etc., including stuff contributed by the band themselves (check the Tokyo Blitz DVD rip!). Check it out at ashfiles.com.

Which led me to think. With Therapy?’s 20th anniversary due up, perhaps we here at the Wall ought to share the love of the boys in black by erecting a similar monument? There is 20 years of gigs, radio sessions, demos, B-sides that aren’t readily available, and always a demand here for them, so perhaps a project along similar lines? Anyone want to get involved?

Anyone? C’mon, this is a great way of cataloguing the nightly bodies of work that discographies and time will end up forgetting!

I’ve just gone onto the Ash Files (never heard of it before) and it’s excellent.
A Therapy? site like that would be great.

Sorry! (gets all sheepish)

Just excited about that idea… Wouldn’t a shared T? archive just rule though?

I like postal trades too, but it seems to work for Ash to the point where Ash donated their own personal bootlegs, even their recent retro gigs at the Astoria.
