*text stolen from Divers intro to DR 2007*

Pick ten famous people most likely to pop their clogs this coming year. Prioritise for maximum points. So if you think Paul Daniels (please god it must be his time!!) is the mostly like to be pushing up daisies this year, make him your number one. Only ONE person so bands or couples don’t count, and if you choose a fictional character then we shall all laugh and point at you :p

1 10 points
2 9 points
3 8 points
4 7 points
5 6 points
6 5 points
7 4 points
8 3 points
9 2 point
10 1 point

Plus pick an additional Wild card - someone under 60. For this you get 10 points

Eg. in 2003 if you had the following you would have had 21 points

1 Roger Moore
2 Charles Bronson (9 points)
3 The Queen
4 Paul McCartney
5 Robert Palmer (6 points)
6 Ozzy Osbourne
7 Jonnie Cash (4 points)
8 Margaret Thatcher
9 Bob Monkhouse (2 point)
10 Bill Clinton
Wild card - Simon Cowell

Yeah - how hard is it to post 10 names ;) plus it brings a bit of excitement and joy to an otherwise morbid and miserable subject :)

@ Gav: I really want to see Ronnie Biggs come off for you, you’ve had him on there for years!

@Dermot: Yeah, I changed my mind, decided to go for 3 straight wins :-) What’s the Steve Coogan selection about then?

Dermot wrote:

Ah, I just wanted to put some random person in so that people would be amazed if they actually died. Coogan is supposed to have a big drug habit and a lot of comic geniuses have a very depressive dark side!

I’m convinced Biggs is part man, part machine… he was supposed to be at deaths door years ago when they let him back to the uk. He’s definitely on borrowed time.

That must have happened to somebody :P

I also heard about a guy who wrote down numbers on a bit of paper just for fun and one week he would have won. :)
