yeah, saw a match or two of his back when he was called synn.

Triple H doesnt even get that much of a pop considering how he’s booked, he’s only over because hes forced down peoples throats.

——————————
- Kizarny is already off to a bad start with the company, and there is heat on John Laurinaitis due to him backing him. Kizarny and MVP were booked on recent house shows, with MVP dominating the matches, and then losing via a fluke to keep his “loser” gimmick alive.

- MVP has been told that his “loser” gimmick will result in a face turn for him. MVP is accepting of this, because due to the gimmick, he is taking less physical risks, and it is protecting his body.

I would say that MVP is garnering (fnar, fnar) more respect from WWE, as I believe MVP is calling the majority of his matches. I would say this is part of the developmental process. You can hear those MVP chants already though!

I think Wrestlemania is gonna shape up like this

Triple H VS Edge (wwe championship)
Chris Jericho VS John Cena (heavyweight championship)

Either jericho or triple h winning the royal rumble later this month , hopefully jericho.

Jeff hardy VS Christian (grudge match for costing jeff the title)
Shawn michaels VS JBL (shawn fighting for his freedom of jbl)
Batista VS Randy Orton (grudge match)
Undertaker VS Kozlov (two unbeaten records at stake?)

I watched Raw live last night , and Vince is back in two weeks , great stuff.

Not a bad line up there Dusty, just there doesn’t seem to be that extra spark in the last few Wrestlemania’s. I hope there’s a something special this year

I really dont want vince back, he has a tendancy to let his ego get in the way of his judgment and end up in some pretty ridicolous segments.

that mania card looks likely, I’d like to see more done with taker seeing as this is the 25th mania though.

Same with HBK, but JBL looks likely unfortunatly.

They really should do something special being 25 years and all , probably have some cameo apperances. Stone Cold maybe Hogan or something. I agree that more should be done with Taker and HBK , I like JBL’s mic talk but as a wrestler he’s pretty poor and limited.

Is there any websites you guys know off that you can watch live wwe, e.g the royal rumble, i love this ppv but £15 on top of an already £60 a month sky bill is a bit too much.

if i come across another one i’ll pm you the links to avoid legal trouble for the board and to keep the links from spreading (WWE have a very good legal division)

Something just dawned on me - HBK and JBL are both Texans, we’ve got this festering storyline on the slow-build to ‘mania in Houston.

HBK isn’t allowed in the Rumble, JBL picks up a dirty win over Cena at the Rumble, then enters HBK in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out to ensure an easy victory at WM25, but Michaels flips, and can’t go through with it, superkicks JBL through his limo window in second week of March, then they pull off an ABSOLUTE barnstormer for the strap at mania, with HBK pulling off a last ditch victory thanks to interference from Stone Cold.

You owe me a tenner if this happens

I really doubt wwe are going to give such a high profile match to jbl nowadays, I could be wrong but I dont even see him holding another title ever again really.

I think they would do it as a conduit - it’s a BIG storyline into mania and they’ll clearly have a match come hell or high water - remember Vince/HBK - that was a big build too. Two Texans, fighting in Texas for the title at Wrestlemania 25 - the adverts alone would make it work.

g (My Shade Will Comfort you) wrote:

yeah, if that happened the wwe would definatly go with something like hhh v edge or undertaker v hhh or whatever for the title on smackdown.

hopefully they dont bother with celebrity involvement at this years mania, knowing wwe they’d find a way to get puff daddy or snoop dogg involved in the possible hbk/jbl match

Ric flair’s farwell night could well go down as my all time favourite wrestling moment, I just watched all the footage of it again and no matter how fake wrestling and wwe is that was real. When The Undertaker and Vince came down that was just brilliant.

I really hope that WWE do something similar for Hulk Hogan but It probably wont happen. When The Undertaker , Shawn Michaels and even Triple H call it a day they’ll have something similar.

With recent wrestling news , anyone like this new guy called Jack Swagger , he’s undefeated and won the ECW title , I think he could be an excellent prospect. Also I know Jericho has been kayfabled fired but anyone know when he’s likley to be back? Surely he’s gonna be at wrestlemania?

the titles probably been taken off matt to get him involved in the Jeff storyline and be free to do that ( i see a total swerve coming and matt being behind hardys misfortunes not christian as most people think it is)

jack swagger used to be an indie wrestler called jake hager or something I believe, not seen him in action, might watch ECW in a bit actually.

what I love about ECW is that its similar to TNA a bit in the way that anyone from any position on the card can and will win the title.

jericho and steph in the same segment made me long for the old days again.

I reckon either vince will reinstate Jericho or Jericho will come to RAW assuming vince will rehire him but vince will swerve and side with steph (pardon me for being obsessed with swerves I just feel a few suprises are needed at the moment)

the fucked up thing is victorias made all the shitty plastic titted models look good for years and gets no fan response on her retirement, i’ll probably miss her more than flair for the simple fact that after the golden era of divas finished she was there as the workhorse of the division.

guess i’ll be doing an all morninger tommorow for the royal rumble.

thenagain i am slightly worried jericho has been fired for real considering the current amount of firings going on, i mean they let hardcore holly go, I know hes a cunt who no ones got anything nice to say about but he had his job for 15 years due to being loyal to the company same with sean morely (val venis) he’s been let go too which is a shock.

Val Venis , brilliant in his prime. Hardcore holly was unlucky with injuries I thought , not a bad wrestler but couldn’t work the mic.

I thought the rumble was next weekend? 25th?

I agree with what you said about the divas though , these days I couldn’t name more than 2. Not like when they had Trish , Torrie Wilson , Lita , Sable etc.

ah, im crap at keeping up to date with ppv dates, they shove them down your throats and i still cant remember them.

when I was 10 I’d remember every date and I’d see both raw and smackdown then watch about 7 showings of highlight shows, nowadays I find it a chore sometimes to watch just raw or smackdown (I tend to only end up watching one show a week mabye tna impact as well if I dont end up reading the spoilers then read reports for the shows i dont watch and check out the segments that sound good on youtube)

how good was this weeks raw?

easily one of the best episodes in recent history.

that ending was a shocker, they seem to be going back to ‘shades of grey’ rather than having clear cut face and heels.

The Regal/Cm Punk match was awesome and told a story, Punk winning in his home town was a huge moment.

I really cant wait for the royal rumble now.

and is it me or is steph alot hotter than she used to be? I really like the current Randy Orton character, wasnt a fan of alot of his past work. and how much has kelly kelly improved? I can remember when she was terrible now shes average for a diva. John Morrison is going to be huge in a year or two (hopefully he wins money in the bank)

Hopefully WWE continue down this path but knowing them this will be a one-off and we’ll be back to terrible RAW’s come next week.

and im in shock they acknowledged that goldust is cody’s brother on TV, they usually play down stuff like that.

The regal and cm punk was very good , I actually thought at one point regal had broke punks neck , he dropped him right on it , looked very sloppy. I’ve always liked regal for some reason, excellent banter from him.

Steph is immense, hot as fuck , imo.

Orton is great, he’s pure evil at the moment. That jericho being fired didn’t last very long.

The more I think about what Caffeine Bomb said about JBL winning the title from cena the more I want it to happen. JBL VS HBK for the title at mania would be class. But would the wwe really want that match over Cena VS Jericho? Who knows whats gonna happen.

The rumble will make things alot clearer on what will happen at mania.

I want Cena V HBK (one last match to finish their history off then leave it there and maybe move HBK to Smackdown after mania then do HBK Taker at summerslam) and Jericho V Orton for mania on the raw side of things,

Jericho and orton would be a good one to build to, both of them not competing for cheers but boos, maybe manu and sim snuka could align with jericho then have a ted jr/ cody v manu/sim snuka match on the undercard
