How cool is that?! And look at his wife, imagine her going along to a gig with him, all done up in her best hair metal outfit, lycra hotpants, leather jacket, knee-high boots?!

*is in Heaven*

When I read the description, I thought “yeah right! I bet he listens to a bit of Deep Purple or Led Zep” but no, there he is with Megadeth on his stereo raving about Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. How very bizarre.

you’d never expect him to be a metal fan by looking at him, I guess thats the thing about metal, obviously you’ve got the walking sterotype bunch of fans but to me most of the true metal fans are people who dont look ‘metal’.

did i ever tell you about the smart businessman I saw picking up terrorizer (or something similar) in borders?

Years ago on the new year’s do of my employer , a multinational bank so wearing a suit and the hair nice and short , one of my colleague’s sons who plays in a Belgian metal band asked me why I was on crutches.
He almost choked on his cracker when I told him I just been released from hospital after a stage dive had gone terribly wrong at a Morbid Angel gig two days earlier. :)

my boss loves iron maiden and megadeth and all the other stuff, and he wears a suit and tie every day of the week
for work, I have to look like I’m a serious business person, but my clothes for work do not define who I am.
I used to have a boyfriend who had to wear a suit for work every day, so during the weekend for going out he put on what every normal person would put on, jeans and a nice shirt. We went to this really posh club and one guy was looking at him all funny because he wasn’t in a suit, he told him : I don’t like wearing workclothes on a night out, but I understand that you like to wear a suit, which is a nice change from your blue overall during the week :-D Not that nice, but very funny :-)
