Sounds like Smells like…

I’m sure some reasonably attractive one-hit wonder femal corporate puppet type covered Teen Spirit in the 90s… but can’t find reference to it, or who she was anywhere. Anyone else remember it? It was I <think> about the time Joan Osbourne was wondering what if God was one of us (let’s start with does he exist first, shall we sweetie?) and Shania Twain was feeling like a woman and record companies were desperate to get any reasonably attractive girl that could hold a guitar to cash in on this sort of thing…

Anyone heard of Richard Cheese? He does these really crap lounge act versions of rock songs as a joke. This sounds like that. The Tori Amos version is actually quite good imho. Slow and moody.

How could they dare using & playing that song. Worse, did you see how the singer (Gary Barlow I guess) fidgets himself. Absolutly RI-DI-CU-LOUS from the begining to the end of the video.

Why would people cover Smells Like Teen Spirit? There are some songs that just shouldn’t be covered - there isn’t really anything else that can be brought to the song - so just dont fucking bother.
