Me either til a couple of weeks back! I’m not sure whether she has any kind of musical background, or whether she just nagged him into it or something!

Well, they’re married so he’s supposed to be doing her, isn’t he? :->
Back on topic, the Grand Duchy album is ok, I’d call it an average FB release.
Better albums to listen to:
Ben Lee - The Rebirth Of Venus
Titus Andronicus - The Airing Of Grievances
Trail Of Dead - The Century Of Self
New Rhodes - Everybody Loves A Scene

The new Trail of Dead is good - been listening to that for a couple of weeks now - they are touring in April (which would be nice)

Still enjoying the new U2 and also Nailbomb. Nailbomb is interesting but the production’s not really up my street. Bit too cheap sounding for my ears, though I can see the appeal. Actually it reminds me a lot of the Slayer covers album, Undisputed Attitude. Similar punk influence in places.

Finshed listening to the Grand Duchey cd. Conclusion: Don’t make music with your wife. Especially if she can’t sing.

I will try and get hold of a copy :)
Been listening to Alice in chains and Jerry cantrells solo albums mostly the last few days… i do like them a lot.
@Dennis, I love the Nailbomb album i find it better than the Sep stuff… and i do like the production as it fits the music it wouldn’t sound right if it was over produced and the guitar sound i think is great.. i’m glad alex used something like it on the last fudge tunnel release.

Dive, Aero Zepplin are my favourites I actually don’t like the way Aneurysm is recorded on Incesticide I prefer the bside to Smells like Teen Spirit version and on Sliver the Crash Symbol on the drum kit sounds like a plate being smashed off a wall
Big Long Now (hard to believe they left it off ‘Bleach’), Dive, Stain, all classics. Even ‘Mexican Seafood’ is great with it’s weird bass and weirder vocals. Nirvana’s stuff has really stood the test of time.
