I also wish I went there but same for you,Marja about the money …and the day before the show,I’ll be busy…For what I found, they’ll participate to the “Backyard festival” with several local bands but I didn’t find any website specific for that fest’.

Wish I could go but big chance I’ll be in another tropical place for work around that time.

Mauritius is paradise on earth. Ideal for diving.
Been twice for work to the Sofitel Imperial in Flic-en-Flacq , which is only about 5 miles from the Anjalay football stadium in Belle Vue.

Wouldn’t mind sipping some cold Blue Marlin beers before getting a pit going at a T? gig there :)

Yeah, would be nice to visit that place for sure but it isn´t that cheap and Ryanair isn´t flying there:)hohohehe! 1500€ was the cheapest flight from Finland (which I found) and it included one week stayin at some quit nice hotel. It would be a nice holiday indeed but me and my miss are waiting for some more dates to be confirmed and specially some headline gigs with full stagetime and in Europe (France, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Finland…).

Yeah, got my tickets today :)

Virgin Atlantic flies from London for 585€, by no means cheap but it’s always possible to compensate by finding somewhere to stay on the cheap side (or in the worst case bringing a tent).

I arrived in Mauritius yesterday, so the timing for cancelling is painfully typical. The trip shouldn’t be completely ruined tho, as a one week vacation is great even without the gig at the end to top it off.

And just so it’s said: I think Therapy? willingly cancelling a show is about as likely as male pregnancy, so I’m sure this lies solely in the hands of the promoters.
